For over a century the IMM has followed the Bible’s New Testament outreach strategy of spreading the Christian Gospel, mainly to miners and their families, and bringing believers together in fully active, self-propagating churches.
In countries around the world it uses pioneer workers - preferably nationals - to break new ground and to encourage local believers to help new miner's churches. It also brings home country supporters into practical contact with the field, its people, its joys and its challenges. It is priority-oriented team work - joyful work - for miners respond warmly and enthusiastcaily once a bridgehead is established.
At whatever level you are able to participate, you are personally and vitally needed. Please get in touch.

Two further evangelism outreach projects are presently under consideration for development in Sierra Leone. One is in the south based around a Rutile mine with a nearby bauxite mine. Here there is an existing church without a pastor. Please pray for the necessary funds (approx. £100 per month).
