Butihinda in Northern Burundi is where artisanal gold mining takes place. Etienne began working there for ‘Harvest for Christ’ in partnership with IMM UK, and discovered that most of the miners had never been reached with the Gospel. Most have no church background so it is not easy to bring the Good News. Please pray.
Who's Who
The International Miners' Mission operates in countries all across the world, with five independent committees supporting the work in the countries geographically closest to them. We have committees in Australia, South Africa, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the USA.
Each committee acts independently, but we have an annual meeting where each committee comes together to celebrate the work God is doing through IMM.
In 2006, we celebrated our centenary year, 100 years of seeing miners the world over reached by the Gospel.
