Butihinda in Northern Burundi is where artisanal gold mining takes place. Etienne began working there for ‘Harvest for Christ’ in partnership with IMM UK, and discovered that most of the miners had never been reached with the Gospel. Most have no church background so it is not easy to bring the Good News. Please pray.
IMM Swiss Committee Downloads
The Safety Lamp and Prayer Link publications keep you up-to-date with what's happening with the Swiss committee.
The Swiss IMM Committee produce a bi-annual magazine ‘Bergmannslicht’ (Miner’s Lamp) as well as an Information sheet. These are both in German and English. They will keep you up to date with what is happening with the work sponsored by the Swiss Committee.
The IMM Swiss Informationsbrief (News letter) is occasionally translated into English. Each issue features reports from IMM supported workers in the mining areas of Zimbabwe, project updates and news.
A detailed Prayer bulletin in German is also available on request giving daily prayer points relating to individual IMM workers in a number of places in the world where IMM operates.
